Hello and welcome to Saving The World From Poor Design on The Web! The aim of this website is to showcase some examples of poor web design in terms of usability, accessibility, and aesthetics. We will also provide some insight, tips, and tricks to ensure your website doesn't follow the examples we showcase here. To get started, simply choose an option from the menu above or read below for descriptions of each section.

This section showcases real-live examples of poor web design. The sites featured in this section fail a number of the criteria outlined in the checklist section. They range from small sites to those of large corporations. All the examples have notes and explanations as to why they made it to this infamous list. I will keep this section regularly updated and will accept submissions if you happen to find a site that is notably failing in our criteria for design.

This is the criteria by which we evaluate sites. If a site fails multiple items here,
it is a likely candidate for our Examples section. The list goes through a thorough
list of checks that address things such as accessibility, usability, and aesthetics.
Web design can be a very subjective field with many variables such as audience and
purpose for the site, so it can be helpful to have a concrete list of general criteria
and rules for "good" web design. This checklist can also serve as a valuable tool
for designers.

This section simply serves to answer those questions we are frequently asked about
the website. Please check here before contacting us as there is a chance your question
has already been answered. You can also find all that information that websites often
tuck away in an "about" section such as a short bio on your author, why he should
control the universe, and the address to which to send bribes.
These icons simply take you to the Home page or the Contact page respectively. Pretty self-explanatory, nothing out of the ordinary there; don't even think about the vampires that reside therein. I just had to make this little blurb so they don't feel left out.
